Saw Scott Pilgrim over the weekend, got to say I liked it.
I’ve never read any of the Scott Pilgrim comic books, but I liked all of the trailers I saw before it came out. And despite everyone jumping off the Michael Cera wagon I still like the guy. So I went to go see the movie over the weekend and I have to say that it won me over. I get that it’s kind of a goofy idea for a movie, a guy has to fight all the exes of his new girlfriends, but when you think about it, since when do people break in to song with choreographed dance numbers in real life? Parts of this movie you have to take with a grain of salt, but once you get in to the mood of the movie it becomes much more fun and entertaining.
Overall, I liked the movie; it was light and goofy and fast-paced. Perfect for a summer action/comedy. I’d see it again.
I must say that I hadn’t considered going to see this movie in the theaters until I read you review. Full of honesty. Thanks. Maybe I’ll go see it this weekend! Oh and I like Michael Cera! I think he is adorable!
