I got my OWLE Bubo and spoiler alert it’s awesome!

So I got an OWLE Bubo a few days ago and it’s pretty much the coolest accessory I’ve ever got for my iPhone. It’s turned what was already a very cool video capture device in to a semi-professional rig… and I haven’t even added any lights, mics or battery packs to it yet.

The best thing about the OWLE so far is how much the lenses expand the scope of the camera. with a .45 wide angle lense you can really notice how much more of the picture you iPhone takes in. The next feature that I like about this thing is how sturdy and solid the design feels with the phone in it. The OWLE is milled from one solid piece of metal and that heft helps too keep the camera steady as you film, and the two hold points make it easy to make steady pans and sweeps so your shots look smooth.

All in all it’s made me want to take more video, made the video I take look better and get a lot of people to ask me about camera system. All good things.
