Formula 1 in Canada this weekend. I’m taking Friday off, everyone!
This weekend I’ll be in Montreal for the Formula 1 Gran Prix Canada at the Gilles-Villeneuve Raceway. If you’ve never been to an F1 race, or any kind of large scale motor competition then I don’t know what to tell you. The amount of power that these cars function with is almost frightening. The feeling of the machines as they drive by will vibrate the fillings out of your teeth, it is the closest human beings have ever come to creating a force of nature.
There’s no word on whether or not Tony Stark will be attending but I’ll let you know if Iron Man makes an appearance.
Woo Lakers! Fisher is the MAN!
This is what Derrick Fisher said after the game in Boston last night. “It’s like being a kid…man you never get tired of that candy”.
That guy was so clutch last night that it is no exaggeration to say that he won it for he Lakers. Ron Artest also did an great job holding off Pierce and Davis though he didn’t really make any points. What I’m really interested in is how Ray Allen went from scoring the most 3′s in any finals game to missing almost every single shot he took out there last night. What happened to him? I saw somewhere that it was one of the worst playoff performances ever. Ouch.
The next two games are in Boston, so if the Lakers sweep the Celtics they might not win the title here in LA. I’ll take a win on the road to no win at all though!
It’s Celtics Vs. Lakers again. Just like old times.
Boston and Los Angeles.
Man, it seems like… 2 years since we saw these teams matched up in the finals. Now, I know California is my adopted state, but I love them Lakers! Seriously now, though. The Lakers have lost in the playoffs 8 times to Boston and only taken home the trophy twice against them.
We need to step it up Los Angeles. I want to see everyone wearing gold and purple from now until July. If the series goes by with Lakers losing so much as one game I’m going to consider it a personal loss for every person I see in the south-land until the next year we go 4 for 4!
Who’s with me?!?
No Harm No Foul
It’s not as bad as the Pacers-Pistons brawl, but I guess this ref threw a little attitude this fan’s way during the Boston-Magic game on Tuesday. The NBA says they’re taking it under review. I just don’t know, he shouldn’t have thrown the ball at the guy but come on! Imagine how much that Ref has to put up with at every game. I’m just glad he didn’t jump in to the stands Artest-style! This is the Playoffs, man!
Back on path to the Superbowl
You all know I’m a big Steelers fan, and It’s never too early to start talking Steeler football, especially when it’s news about one of the best defensive linemen in the game.
Casey Hampton, who by the way is ridiculously large and a 5-time Pro Bowler, signed back up with the Steel Curtain through 2012. This is great news, especially after last year. We definitely need to get back on track.
So, I estimate somewhere between 18-20 wins next season (Superbowl included, of course). What about you?
Time for some Olympic hockey

The Winter Olympics are going on right now, and even though I’m working down in South Africa, I’m trying to keep up. It’s crazy being here and seeing highlights from Canada where there’s nothing but snow and ice.
You all know I’m a big Detroit Red Wings fan, and I’m looking forward to seeing some of those guys play when hockey starts up. Guys like Brian Rafalski (team USA), Pavel Datsyuk (team Russia), Niklas Kronwall. Niklas Lidstrom, and Henrik Zetterberg (team Sweden), Joni Pitkanen (team Finland), and any more that I may have missed.
Just come back safe, guys, we have a Stanley Cup to win!
Oh when the Saints!!!

What a Super Bowl… Awesome game , amazing comeback and I could not be happier for the Saints and for New Orleans. had a great time watching the game at the Playboy Mansion… Thanks Heff! I loved the commercials as well. Had me laughing a lot!
Congrats again to the Saints and it would’ve been fun to be in the French Quarter last night. I hear it was quite a party!

WWE Monday Night Raw!!
I hosted WWE’s Monday Night Raw on Nov 30th and it was much more fun than I could have imagined! If anyone noticed, I wasn’t very mobile during the telecast. I was at my parents house in Michigan over the Thanksgiving weekend and while walking across my dads driveway I twisted and sprained my knee on the rocks. By the time we got to Baltimore to do Raw, I couldn’t even put pressure on my leg. I was looking forward to whoopin The Miz’ ass, but instead I let my boy Mark Henry do it!

I also can’t believe how hands on Vince McMahon is…involved in everything during my rehearsals. He even grabbed the production headset and was cuing sound, video, and lights for my intro. I have a new found respect for those guys. Thanks again to the WWE for such a great time!

And yes, I did stomp on MVP in that video game!
