Verne’s Mail Bag – Gaming
What’s up, guys? I thought I’d put up this little video I ded a couple days ago where I answer some questions from you guys, the fans.
Hope you enjoy them, and keep the questions coming!
Peace, and have a happy Halloween.

Check out this hilarious collection of people using album cover stand-ins
I can’t believe I’ve never thought of doing this before (maybe cuz I don’t have any records lying around the house). I’ll have to get on it as soon as I get back, in the meantime, you guys gotta look at these funny images of people using album covers as on set masks. So cool!
Too bad you can’t use C.D.s for the same purpose. And what about MP3s? Pretty soon we’re not going have any physical media to perform cute office-environment distractions with any more!

David Bowie, Kermit the Frog and street performing
I’ve seen plenty of street theater in my time, but I’m not sure anything can top this.
If you were walking down the street and you caught the beginning of this performance out of the corner of your eye, you know you’d go over and watch the whole thing. And that’s a pretty impressive thing in today’s busy world. He gets so in to it, you can’t help but be hypnotised. I fully support guys like this, The Autotune The News crew and anyone else who is out there providing entertaining and funny videos to the internet’s memory banks. Way to go, brother!
Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart are having Rallies in Washington D.C.
Jon Stewart and his “rival” Stephen Colbert are holding battling Rallies in Washington D.C. this coming October 30th. Political views aside, you have to admit that it’s pretty hilarious that the best response that these two have to the recent Glenn Beck rally is to throw their own.
Each personality appeared on the other’s program to spread the word about the October 30th Rally(ies?). The only question is whether or not the events will be portrayed as separate things of if the two of them will join forces to form on giant, mega-super Rally. Both of the announcement clips are below.

I can’t get the Bed Intruder song out of my head!
Maybe you’re like me and you saw this auto tuned video of Antoine Dodson on the news. And maybe you’re like me and you fell in love with the song.
It’s such a simple and clever idea, turn an internet meme in to something catchy and musical. Nothing gets stuck in your head and passed around so much as a clever song. Have fun getting this one stuck in you head for the rest of the weekend! See you guys back on Monday.
Something seems different with Full Metal Jacket
The above clip is Sort of NSFW, but use your common sense. Okay, we all know that Full Metal Jacket is a pretty intense movie, the first half of it alone has more curse words than a pirate divorce hearing. But there is something about this clip that just makes me laugh my face off. When you turn R. Lee Ermy’s normal, grating drill instructor’s voice in to the blathering sound of Donald Duck it’s pretty much the best thing on the internet.
Imagine right now what the scientist back in the 60′s and 70′s were thinking about when they were building the foundations of the internet, do you think they knew what we were going to do with it? I like to think so.
I can’t tell you how much I learned from this video
If there is one thing that the internet has given us it is the ability to look up ridiculous videos of fathers with funny beards disarming their toddlers with karate. At least that’s what I’m usually using the web for.
For instance: I did not know that when you are attacked by someone with a knife you should grab their hand and just shake it. Just keep shaking it until the knife falls out.
Thank you Gavin McInnes, you’ve saved thousands of lives today.
Catch me on LA Talk Radio on Sunday 2pm PT/5pm ET!
This Sunday I’ll be on LA Talk Radio on the Give Back Hollywood show with Todd Michael Krim. It’s a great program that does more than it’s fair share to get celebrities in the Los Angeles area to give back to the community. Check them out by clicking HERE.
Take a listen and check me out this Sunday, then right after that I’m going to the Restore Baseball to Inner Cities event put on by the Dodgers. It’s going to be an awesome weekend, I hope you all make the best of it too!
Peace!
I feel like my life finally makes sense now
All I had to do in order to achieve enlightenment was find a video of some guy throwing a brick inside an out of control washing machine.
There really isn’t much more to add to this video, just a man… a brick… and an insane spin cycle that looks like an early version of the T-1000. RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!
Pssst – You guys wanna see the new Thor trailer?
I’m always in to seeing the newest and coolest comic book – turned movie, The Spiderman movies were great and the new Bat Man with Chris Nolan are far and away the best yet. With that in mind, I really can’t wait to check out this Thor movie (and the Avengers flick after that!).
Check out the 4 minute (!) trailer and let me know what you think
