Orlando Pulls it Out Against Boston, the Series Goes Back To Florida
I was kind of happy to see the game go in to the first overtime of the finals last night, and not just because it gave the Magic a chance it win it in the end. Boston came in to the game a with three wins and could have sealed it up right there but got a little laggy by the end of the game and almost completely shut down in overtime. Despite the 5 three pointers that Allen sank (more than he’s downed through the entire series) Orlando worked Boston over and came out with a 96-92 final score. It was close, and those are the best games. I hope they’re all just as exciting as this one.
Also, did anyone else see D Howe and Garnett almost go at it in the second half? Almost a repeat of the Artest/Bryant foul frenzy durring last year’s finals.
Gaming with Verne Tonight
We’ve got a night of gaming ahead of us tonight, people. It’s either going to be Tiger woods 10 or NCAA 10, or maybe both. Either way we’ll be playing at 6:30 PM PST on the PS3. Don’t forget, my PSN is Schmer1969 and you can send me a friend request any time. But be warned, I’ve got a wicked drive.

I’ve said it before but I’ll repeat myself, I’m not 100% up on Lost. Still though, I watch when I can and I managed to check out the final episodes last night. I have to say, as a person who doesn’t read the Wikipedia page after each episode that I liked it overall. I know the super die-hard fans are going to complain, but I enjoyed it. I can’t imagine wrapping up all the questions of that show in to a nice, neat little package the way they did. Then again, I keep hearing about a spin-off coming down the pipe. Would that be too much you think?

It’s going to be called Autopia Europia and it’s going to have a racetrack… ON THE ROOF! Is going to be so big that you can drive your car around inside the building to go from floor to floor.
And I thought the Stratosphere in Vegas was crazy when they put a roller coaster on the roof of a building!

Lots Of TV Shows Ending, Lots Of TV Shows Beginning
A whole bunch of series are going away this year, some because they didn’t do to well and some because it’s just the end of the story. Lost, 24 and CSI are all on their last season. Shows like Flash Forward, Better Off Ted, Ghost Whisperer and Cold Case are finished due to poor performances. It seems pretty cut-throat out there right now, I’d hate to be on a show that’s not living up to expectations.
I watch Lost every so often but it’s hard to really get in to the show. If you miss one episode you miss everything. I love the characters and the connections and the mystery, but I’ll be happy to just see it all from the perspective of the final episode.

A little MAG, a little AC/DC and a few friends. Can’t ask for anything better than that, can I? Last night we played Massive Action Game and it got pretty crazy. I had no real idea how insane the online play could get. There are some points when you first start out that all you see are team-mates scattering from the spawn point like roaches with the light on.
Good times. I think we’ll switch to either some College Football or some Tiger Woods. What do you think, folks?

Tonight we’re playing MAG on the PS3 because I have GOT to get in on that 256-player action! I’ve been holding back lately with the FIFA and NBA2K series, but now we’re back to good, old fashioned shoot’em ups.
