From their website https://www.hopeforhaitinow.org/
A massive, 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti near the capital of Port-au-Prince on Tuesday, January 12th. The damage to buildings is extensive and the number of injured or dead is estimated to be over 100,000.
Your gift will help rush emergency supplies to survivors of this catastrophe. Your gift now will help distribute life-saving relief supplies including food, clean water, blankets, medical supplies and tents to children and families devastated by the earthquake and aftershocks in Haiti.

Clearing up a rumor/error….
Just to clear the air, I am not in the upcoming Werner Herzog film “My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done”. As much as I would like to co-star alongside talented actors such as Willem Dafoe, Chloe Sevigny, and Michael Pena, that is not me in the film. It’s even listed on my imdb page and I’ve asked twice to have it removed without success. Best of luck to that film & go see Dr. Parnassus in the mean time!!
Dr Parnassus is in 564 theaters now in the US!
Cheers mate
Happy Birthday!

New Year’s Eve 2009/2010
Well ladies and gentlemen, another year is coming to a close. This was an eventful year if nothing else: the US swore in the first African-American president, the world went into hiding from Swine Flu, we said goodbye to the King of Pop, and we all tightened up on our spending a little. But we’ll start a brand new year in 2 days and there’s a whole world of possibility ahead.
Before we get to start a new year though, we get to party on NYE! What will you be doing?
National Return Your Gifts Day
Ah, another wonderful holiday day. And today is the day we all return the gifts we got from people we love, but just don’t get our taste that well. Maybe you got a hideous tie from your mother (who maybe read a previous post here and decided that was just what her son wanted) or maybe you got a a watch from your significant other. Except that you don’t wear watches. What’s a guy/gal to do? We’ll do what the rest of America does; go to the mall on Dec 26 and see if we can get something else.
I think we should petition to have Dec 26 made into another Federal holiday; that way no one would have to wait to return those things!
