Pssst – You guys wanna see the new Thor trailer?
I’m always in to seeing the newest and coolest comic book – turned movie, The Spiderman movies were great and the new Bat Man with Chris Nolan are far and away the best yet. With that in mind, I really can’t wait to check out this Thor movie (and the Avengers flick after that!).

This 3D Face technology will blow you away
I just saw the new trailer for Tron and I was blown away by how they made Jeff Bridges look 30 years younger. Then I remembered that they did the same thing in X Men 3 with Sir Ian McKellan and Sir Patrick Stewart. Then I got to rooting around Youtube for the next hour linking from one cool video to the next until I saw this. Is this crazy or what?
From a single picture they are able to render a complete 3d model. Am I the only one who thinks that we should be a lot further along in the whole special effects/3D/gaming realm? I mean, if we can do this just think about it!
Comic Con Begins in San Diego!
I can’t make it to the San Diego comic Con this year, and sadly I’ll be busy with the Starkey Hearing Foundation in Minneapolis. I’d love to go to SDCC, but you gotta set some time apart for those who need attention.
The Starkey Hearing Foundation does amazing work getting youths care and equipment that helps them hear, which is an incredible gift that not many are lucky enough to get. Everyone have fun down south, though. and I’ll see you all next week. Can’t wait to read all your tweets!
I had this crazy dream last night about a movie called Inception
Inception is doing really well and that is one of the best thing I could hear. The movie is so sharp and compelling that I could not keep from sinking down along with the characters in the film as they went deeper and deeper in to each other’s minds. I bought a ticket for a seat in the theater but I only sat on the edge. That’s how magnetic this movie is.
The characters are dapper, the plot pulls you along an exciting path while throwing twist and turn at you with perfect pace. It all builds up to a movie that works as a drama, a heist movie, a thriller and a noir film all in one.
Here’s to hoping that more pictures like this get made and there can be a resurgence of quality cinema in the world.
I’m buying Old Spice from now on
I don’t remember seeing this before but it is maybe the funniest advertisement I’ve seen in years. It’s sharp, quick and 100% hilarious. Usually this has nothing to do with the product that is for sale, and I don’t even think about the commercial when I’m in the store. But this ad makes me want to buy Old Spice just because they make me laugh.
I guess I’m pretty impressionable. What do you think? If you say I am I’ll believe you. Damnit, there I go again!

Oh man, I could read this stuff all day.
I never knew about “Mad” Jack Churchill until today. Apparently he was a British Commando in WWII who used to carry a sword in to battle. And that’s not even close to the heights of this dude’s awesomeness.

I feel both sorry and angry towards the fellas in this video. One part of me wants to yet to them “That van’s going to float in to the lake!” but the other part of me says. ”LOL”.
Here’s a tip for everyone, don’t try to drive your vehicle halfway in to a lake. It just won’t work
Vote Zach Anner for Oprah’s next T.V. celebrity
Right now Oprah Winfrey is running a contest where you can vote for average people to get their own program on television. Many people are entering but no one stands out like Zach Anner, a young man from Texas with cerebral palsy. Zach has an indomitable spirit and one of the funniest intros in the contest.
Right now he’s in the lead with almost 1 Million more votes than the next person. Head on over to the site and throw a couple clicks Zach’s way. And then watch his show when it comes out!
I never knew you could do this!
Back when I was in school we mainly just made baking soda volcanoes. Kids today have these awesome teachers showing the principals of the Bernoulli effect. If this looks like fun to you, you should go check out this site for instructions on making your own.
