Help me raise money for a good cause
Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you all know about the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society project that I’ve recently started working with, the Light The Night Walks. The focus is on raising money and awareness to fight Cancer.
We’ll be doing a couple of walks in Griffith Park and Woodland Hills in the coming months. It’s a nice way to come together and see the other people who are involved in the fight against cancer. All the information can be found on My Page. Donate if you can and save the dates (Sunday October, 2nd and November 6th) for our awesome night walks. And if you make it out to one of the walks you should definitely drop in and say hello. See you guys there!
Catch me on LA Talk Radio on Sunday 2pm PT/5pm ET!
This Sunday I’ll be on LA Talk Radio on the Give Back Hollywood show with Todd Michael Krim. It’s a great program that does more than it’s fair share to get celebrities in the Los Angeles area to give back to the community. Check them out by clicking HERE.
Take a listen and check me out this Sunday, then right after that I’m going to the Restore Baseball to Inner Cities event put on by the Dodgers. It’s going to be an awesome weekend, I hope you all make the best of it too!
Peace!
Going to the Dodgers B.B.I. Event this Sunday to help make baseball the #1 activity for inner city kids
The R.B.I Program (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) is all about giving youths a great option for what to do when they get out of school. Play some baseball! The RBI Program is one of the largest grassroots MLB programs out there and they do a lot of good for the children in many of the major metropolitan locations.
I’ll be heading out to Dodger Stadium to take part in this year’s event with James Loney and some of the other Dodgers will be throwing a party for the kids of Los Angeles. It’s gonna be great fun. I’ll see what kind of backstage footage I can get you all.
Comic Con Begins in San Diego!
I can’t make it to the San Diego comic Con this year, and sadly I’ll be busy with the Starkey Hearing Foundation in Minneapolis. I’d love to go to SDCC, but you gotta set some time apart for those who need attention.
The Starkey Hearing Foundation does amazing work getting youths care and equipment that helps them hear, which is an incredible gift that not many are lucky enough to get. Everyone have fun down south, though. and I’ll see you all next week. Can’t wait to read all your tweets!
It was a pleasure this weekend to be a part of the Steve Garvey Celebrity Softball Classic
Over the weekend I took part in a Celebrity Softball game put on by Steve Garvey in order to help raise money and awareness for Lou Gherrig’s disease (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis). It was a heck of a great day at Pepperdine and there were plenty of people that came out to take part in the event. Steve Garvey, Carl Weathers, Jose Canseco, Pete Rose, Tommy Lasorda and Maury Wills and plenty of other famous-types were on hand to help bring in money to help fight this disease.
Above is a picture with me and the great Pete Rose, gotta love it!
Best Buddies this year was the best yet! Thanks so much to everyone who participated!

Here’s a news report from over the weekend in Massachusetts at the Best Buddies Challenge event. I may have said this last year but WOW! I love coming out here and spending time with some of the intellectually challenged people, it just melts my heart. It’s hard to understand how incredible the participants in the event were if you didn’t meet them. In so many ways they are my heroes.
Other heroes on hand were Tom Brady, Carl Lewis and Maureen McCormick. It was a very moving couple of day and I hope that everyone in their own way can take part in some event just like this one.
It’s time for the Annual Cape Cod Best Buddies Challenge!
Every year the Best Buddies Charity teams up with Audi and a handful of celebrities and athletes from around the country to launch the Best Buddy Challenge Event in Massachusetts. Here is how they describe it on the site:
On June 5, 2010, celebrities, athletes, individuals with intellectual disabilities, and people just like you, will take the challenge, and come together on bike and on foot to make a difference and change lives. It’s much more than a ride, a run, or a walk. With VIP treatment along the way, and a private concert by KC and The Sunshine Band, lobster bake and party at the finish, the Audi Best Buddies Challenge is an experience of a lifetime.
It’s short notice, but head on over to their Site and see what you can do if you’re in the area. Hope to see you there!
Pepsi Is Giving Away $250,000, Vote For Best Buddies To Receive This Donation
Hey Everybody,
I’m still in Amsterdam doing The Jensen Show, but I just wanted to help put out the word for one of my favorite charities, Best Buddies International. Right now they are in the running to receive a $250,000 donation from Pepsi towards a Leadership Conference for disable youths. The more people vote for Best Buddies, the closer they get to being the organisation that wins the donation. You don’t have to pay anything and you can even sign in with your Facebook account. It only takes three clicks and it could really help a wonderful charity to help over 1000 kids.
I hope everyone can take a little (2 min, tops!) out of their day and contribute to making this dream a reality. Have a good day, guys.
Erik And Me, Chillin’ In The SWAGG Cafe At SXSW
How often do you get to hang out with the one and only Ponch? Erik and I teamed up to help the Starkey Hearing Foundation spread the word about keeping your ears safe at SXSW. He’s a real great guy and I had a blast being a part of the all the events down there, who wouldn’t? It an epic festival! SXSW was great this year and you always leave Texas looking forward to the next one.
This picture was taken at SWAGG Cafe which used an app on your smartphone to order drinks, I love it. Now if they could only get an app that helped you order Chipotle….
Friday!
Hey Everybody! Are you as pumped as I am that it’s Friday already?!
As we move into the weekend, I ask that you keep three things in mind.
#1. If you live in or near St. Joe County in Michigan, go see The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus while it’s playing there! (Or if it’s playing wherever you live, go see it!)
#2. Don’t forget to vote for Best Buddies on Pepsi’s Project Refresh. We have a ways to go, but I think we can still make a difference if we work together.
#3. Make sure your Internet is running smoothly, because on Monday when we play Bad Company 2, I don’t want to hear any complaints about how the only reason I beat you was because you had connection problems! If you haven’t left me your PSN ID yet, you can do it in the comments here, and I’ll invite you to play on Monday.
Alright, everyone, have a great weekend!
