New iPhone, New Problems
I want a new iPhone. To be honest, I’ll probably get one. I just don’t like hearing all of this stuff about how the new phones are loosing signal when you hold them in your left hand. That’s really not what I want to hear about the device I’m buying especially if it’s going to cost me $50 for a 32 Gig a year after buying the newest version. And what about the screen that is supposed to be clearer than any other screen is showing yellow marks on it right out of the box.
My guess is that when you correct 50,000 flaws in a product there is always going to be a 50,001st. So far from what I’ve seen on Engadget and Gizmodo it looks like the problems aren’t very wide-spread. It looks like it may be a gamble to get an iPhone 4 at this point, but that’s a risk I’m willing to take.
Ghost Recon Looks Mean, Y’all!
I got to check out a little bit of Ghost Recon Future Soldier when I was at E3 and that game is going to blow the doors off whatever else comes out at the same time. You get to creep aroung completely invisible to the enemy and take them out in close quarters and generally wreck shop Jack Bauer-style.
It’s going to take a little effort to relearn all of your controls, this game plays a lot different that Call of Duty and other fast-paced FPSs. At least we’ll all be on a level playing field. Seriously though, everyone… this game is going to be dangerous. Make sure to keep a some open space in your stalking for this on come Christmas.
SnuggBuds are probably the best headphones you can find
Who uses an Apple device to listen to music? Everyone, right? But here’s the problem… Apple headphones are terrible. They’re white, they get dirty easy, they’re uncomfortable and so on. Well if you’re looking for better sound quality, comfort and style then all you have to do is check out SnuggBuds Earbuds. I got a pair of these things at the Anaheim Comic Comvention and they work so well it’s crazy. there’s a in-line mic on them so you can answer and hang up on phone calls without pulling the phone out of your pocket. Very cool.
I definitely recommend these things to anyone unhappy with the standard Apple buds. You’re gonna dig them.
FIFA 2010 on PS3 Tonight for Gaming With Verne
We’re playing FIFA 2010 on the PS3 tonight (sorry I don’t have the World Cup edition). You know who I’m going to be playing with though, right? That’s it, Arsenal.

E3 was awesome!
This year’s Electronic Entertainment Expos in Los Angeles was absolutely a blast. There were games galore, tons of demo units, press events and celebs all over the place. I might just be bold enough to say it was the best year ever.
Favorite games I saw: Portal 2, Call of Duty Black Ops, Tron, Homefront and tons more. It’s going to be long wait until all of the games that were mentioned actually come out. But by that time we’ll have had two more E3’s and can look forward to even more. It never ends!
E-3 is going on, and it looks like a doozy of a convention.
So far the highlights from the Electronic Entertainment Expo this year are a new Xbox with gesture-based controls, a slew of Nintendo Wii games and 20 3D games coming for the Sony Playstation. I’m as excited as anyone to check out all of the highlights from the show floor (and maybe even closer if I can).
The PS3 event is going on right now so it’s hard to say who’s “won” the Expo, a lot of people are saying that Nintendo showed a lot of classic games coming out for the next year, but who really know yet. It looks like it’s going to be a good year for gamers.

I’m not going to lie, we got the snot beat out of us last night playing some Modern Warfare 2.
Here’s the problem: Everyone and their brother is playing this game non-stop. If you don’t focus only on that game, you’ll always be on the wrong end of a SCAR assault rifle. I like to branch out and focus on different games, you all MW2-heads are too advanced for me.
I think I’ll give the FPS genre a little bit of a rest for a while. Maybe I’ll check out some Red Dead Redemption before E3 this year.

You asked for it… Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 on the PS3 tonight at 6:30 PM PST. This is the game I get asked to play more than any other one out there. I love to play it, just not all the time. Apple announces new iPhone. My old iPhone for sale starting now!
Right now in San Francisco Apple is announcing their new iPhone 4. It’s got an HD camera, video chat, a gyroscope for insane accuracy of geolocation, iMovie will be on it, the display has 4 times the number of pixels the last one had and the battery lasts 40% longer. All in all it’s a phenomenal step forward for the company.
I can understand people hesitant about the iPad. But this thing has a telephone, an HD video camera, the internet and email, all of your music and more right in the palm of your hand. I would not be surprised if iPhone become the most used cell phones on the planet after today.
Oh, wow. That’s a sharp looking phone: The Motorola Flipout
Sorry to put out two tech posts back to back. but look how cool this phone it. It’s the Motorola Flipout and it just came out and I like them. I love how compact it is, how sleek the casing is and almost evey feature of the design.
I don’t think I could ever give up my iPhone, but if I had to I would be looking pretty hard at one of these babies. The only problem I see about it is the physical button layout, that little d-pad in the bottom left corner doesn’t look like it would be the best way to scroll around the screen. Who knows though, I haven’t messed around with this thing… yet.
