Here’s a news report from over the weekend in Massachusetts at the Best Buddies Challenge event. I may have said this last year but WOW! I love coming out here and spending time with some of the intellectually challenged people, it just melts my heart. It’s hard to understand how incredible the participants in the event were if you didn’t meet them. In so many ways they are my heroes.
Other heroes on hand were Tom Brady, Carl Lewis and Maureen McCormick. It was a very moving couple of day and I hope that everyone in their own way can take part in some event just like this one.
Verne, it was a pleasure having you at the event! You bring so much life to our events, and we’re grateful to have such incredible support from such an incredible figure such as yourself.
